Tickhill Castle was built in the 11th. century, and although the castle no longer remains, the Norman Gatehouse is incredibly impressive and lays claim to one of the oldest surviving in the country.

Tickhill also has a fine example of a Parish Church - St. Mary's - which has evolved over several centuries and today is a representation of varied architectural styles, with tombs and coats of arms signifying the residents of the village in bygone days.

Bespoke picture framing is also carried out on the premises with expertise on hand to consult and advise.
